Annual Oncology Student Symposium

St Anne's College, Oxford

The Symposium, as well as being an important training opportunity, is a time for students to reflect on the year’s achievements and to present their findings to their peers. It is also an opportunity for students to become further acquainted with the broad spectrum of research projects on-going in the Department.  

The event format will be as follows:

  • 1st year MRes and DPhil students to present posters
  • 2nd year DPhil students will give a short talk/presentation of approximately 10 minutes
  • 3rd year DPhil students will Chair the talks

1st year DPhil/MRes student will be asked to produce a poster which will be displayed during the refreshment breaks and there will be a prize for the best poster.  Please submit a 250 word titled abstract for the symposium booklet to: katy.higgins@oncology.ox.ac.uk by Monday, 19 June 2017.

If you would like to, please submit a photographic image that has arisen from your research by Monday, 26 June 2017.  There is a prize for the chosen image which will be printed on the front cover of the Symposium booklet.   

Please confirm your attendance no later than Monday, 22 May 2017.
